Evaluation

Deadly Heart Gambit launched on March 3, 2025 as a complete visual novel with 4 chapters, 2 endings, and a hidden secret. Shortly after launch, on April 27, 2025, the developer shipped an Endless Mode update adding new rules and post-story replayability. No further content updates or announcements for this game have been made since then. The developer's most recent post, from February 13, 2026, is an announcement for an entirely separate new game ("Living is Expensive...") — signaling the studio has moved on to new projects rather than continuing to develop Deadly Heart Gambit. There is no announced future content, no unreleased DLC, and no active update cadence for this title. The game appears to be a complete, finished product.

Evidence

Endless Mode update shipped, adding new gameplay rules available after Chapter 5. This appears to be the final post-launch content update for the game.

The game is very simple

I will give you time for every card you draw.

However

You lose your time when you draw a joker.

If you lose all your time, your heart will be mine.

How to avoid losing

You keep every card you draw.

You can pass your turn by playing a card.
