My Desktop Sister launched on July 31, 2025 as a free-to-play desktop companion app. On launch day, the developer published a list of named mini-games in active development — including Fluffy Evasion, Ribbon Rhythm, Dream Pairing, Celestial Catch, and others — and committed to releasing them on a biweekly schedule. In the three weeks following launch, the developer shipped three feature patches: Patch v1.0.2a on August 5 (adding a "Stay on Top" toggle), Patch v1.0.3a on August 11 (bug fixes and four new languages), and Patch v1.0.4a on August 18 (a full Widgets system including tools in beta, plus promises of new costumes and mini-games ahead). The August 18, 2025 patch notes specifically stated that new mini-games and costumes were coming soon — this remains the last official communication from the developer. As of September 17, 2026, the developer has been completely silent for over 13 months. The committed biweekly update schedule was never sustained beyond the initial launch window, none of the named mini-games have been confirmed as shipped, and there has been no developer post explaining the gap, announcing a hiatus, or declaring the project complete.
