Death Trick: Double Blind launched on March 12, 2024 as a complete, standalone story experience. The developers — Jenny and Mari of Citreat Studio — explicitly confirmed on September 19, 2024 that "the plan has always been that it will be a stand-alone piece of story, with no DLC or sequels." This is a clear, direct statement that no additional content is planned for the game.
The two DLC items listed on the store (the Original Soundtrack and the Digital Artbook) were both released at or shortly after launch and are purely supplementary — not story content. All DLC is accounted for and fully released.
Since launch, the developers have posted anniversary fan art and goodwill messages celebrating the game on its one-year (March 12, 2025) and two-year (March 12, 2026) anniversaries, along with a handful of bug fix and quality-of-life patches in the weeks following release. These posts have a reflective, fond-farewell tone, consistent with a completed project. The developers have moved on to a new studio (Citreat Studio) and a new project (Zero-Sum Heart), announced in September 2024.
The game launched as a finished narrative product and the developers have confirmed no further content is coming. Anyone who purchases the game today is getting the complete experience.

Come one, come all to Morgan’s Traveling Circus, the greatest show in America! Or it was, until its star, Hattie, disappeared.
Take a step back in time to the middle of the mid 20th century, as a magician and a private eye tackle the case of the missing magician. Marvel at lush pulp art visuals and an atmospheric soundtrack that harkens back to the golden days of the traveling circus! But never forget, there’s a murderous mystery afoot.
Take control of two protagonists tackling the case from different perspectives: one a fellow magician and colleague of the victim, and the other a private eye grappling with a bout of amnesia. Use their unique skills and expertise to befriend and interrogate a huge cast of characters, investigate various locations, and hunt down contradictions in a winding narrative filled with twists, turns, and treachery sure to shock and delight would-be detectives and circus fans alike.
