DEATHWATCH launched on October 21, 2022 and received several feature patches and quality-of-life updates in its first weeks — adding a new difficulty, a "Chill" mode, UI improvements, and performance fixes. The last developer communication of any kind was a feature patch on November 29, 2022. On September 20, 2023, the developer announced a full sequel, DEATHWATCHERS, which takes the concept in a new direction with co-op and expanded mechanics. No further updates to DEATHWATCH itself have been communicated since November 2022. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content for this game, and no post-launch content cadence beyond the initial post-launch polish patches. The sequel announcement strongly suggests the developer has moved on to the next project rather than continuing to develop this one. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product and received its post-launch polish before the team transitioned to DEATHWATCHERS.

DEATHWATCH is a horror game in which you are tasked to observe haunted locations, log supernatural events and eradicate any potential paranormal threats.
You'll need to keep a keen eye on every camera and even your present location for any supernatural occurences. Possible events vary from Audio to Victims and paranormal sightings, plus many more. Using your computer systems you must log each event to gather enough data to eliminate the entity, before it eliminates you!
DEATHWATCH puts you in a vulnerable state where your only chance of survival is to succesfully log enough supernatural events in order to survive the night. You need to constantly be aware of your own surroundings because you may not be the only one observing.
Full Twitch integration, view your live chat in game while your viewers observe with you and potentially disrupt or even aid your playthrough.
