Deep Space 7 launched on September 26, 2024 and has been in continuous, active development ever since. The developer — a solo creator — has posted 32 updates since launch, all patch notes, with no meaningful gaps in activity.
The update history shows steady progress through version milestones: new story chapters (Chapter 5 in June 2025, Chapter 6 beta in December 2025), new weapons, new themed maps (Station in February 2026, Desert Base in July 2026), full weapon system and character customization overhauls, and consistent balance and quality-of-life improvements. The game has not yet reached version 1.0.
The most recent update, version 0.9, was posted on July 15, 2026 — about five weeks before today's date — confirming the developer is still actively working on the game. The store description explicitly states: "the game is still under development. Feel free to provide suggestions, and the game will continue to be updated." The Deep Space 7 Space Research Institute, located adjacent to Mars, is facing an unprecedented disaster. Due to a sudden leak accident, the entire space station was plunged into chaos and crisis. In the space station filled with monsters,Aya, as a staff member of the space station, faced numerous dangers and embarked on a journey of escape.

This is a third person action game that mainly includes shooting, puzzle solving, and other elements. At the same time, the game's supplies are also very limited, and players need to manage resources. The game has a terrifying and tense atmosphere, dark channels, flashing lights, and a variety of different weapons to use. Weapons can be upgraded, and the protagonist can unlock multiple sets of clothing.
