Demolish & Build 3: Excavator Playground

Demolish & Build 3: Excavator Playground is a free tech demo — a deliberately limited "sneak peek" at the physics and driving mechanics being built for the full game, Demolish & Build 3. It was always intended as a promotional tool, not a standalone product with its own ongoing content roadmap. The demo launched on August 19, 2022. The developer posted a follow-up on August 31, 2022 explaining that some new vehicle attachments would be added to the Excavator Playground in future updates, and that a new controller mapping system was about a month or two away. That controller customization update shipped on December 16, 2022 — fulfilling the promised additions. All subsequent developer posts (from 2023 onward) are focused entirely on the main game, Demolish & Build 3, including demo events, a free Prologue release in March 2024, and the full game's launch on September 11, 2024. None of these posts reference any further updates to the Excavator Playground demo itself. The Excavator Playground has served its purpose: it previewed the physics engine ahead of the main game, received the promised controller update, and the full Demolish & Build 3 has since released. The demo is complete and has had no developer communication specific to it since December 2022.
