Demon's Rise: Lords of Chaos launched on April 24, 2018 and received consistent post-launch updates through its first two years. The developer regularly added new character classes and improvements: the 1.5 patch (May 16, 2018) added the Toadman Guard, the 1.6 patch (May 28, 2018) added a Ninja class, a November 2018 patch (1.81) added the Ratkin Plague Blade, a June 2019 update (1.9) added the Werespider, and the October 19, 2020 patch (2.0) added the Chaos Dwarf Berserker — bringing the total roster to 25 character classes.
That October 2020 update appears to be the last substantive communication about this game. Alongside the 2.0 patch, the developer posted on October 30, 2020 announcing their next major release, Strike Team Gladius, indicating the studio's attention had shifted to new projects. There have been no further updates, announcements, or communications about Demon's Rise: Lords of Chaos since that point — now over five years ago as of June 2026.
The store description describes a complete, self-contained product with no references to upcoming content. There are no unreleased DLC listings. The game launched as a finished product and received a series of free content additions over roughly two and a half years before the developer moved on. It is a complete game.

Demon’s Rise: Lords of Chaos is a turn-based, tactical RPG set in a brutal and unforgiving fantasy world. Taking place amidst a horrific war in the cold north, the campaign will see your party fight innumerable enemies, huge monsters and powerful sorcerers. Victory will require the tactical use of terrain, morale, formations and magic. Build an increasingly powerful war band, command demonic allies, and crush those that stand against you.
• Tactical Choices: Use terrain effects, cover and line of sight to gain an edge over your enemies. Employ spells to hinder powerful enemies, area effect damage to clear the field of lesser foes and buffs to strengthen your allies.
• Build Your Party: Choose from 20 diverse character classes to build your war band. Your warriors will improve with every victory, becoming stronger and unlocking new powers and skills. Acts of courage and savagery on the battlefield will bring favor from your gods, which can mean the difference between glory and defeat.
• Collect Gear: Equip your warriors with powerful weapons, arcane objects, runic armor and legendary artifacts. There are thousands of items to find and collect, each with their own stat effects and background lore.
