Sword Legacy: Omen launched on August 13, 2018 as a complete, self-contained tactical RPG. The only DLC ever released — a digital artbook and an original soundtrack — shipped on the same day as the game itself, indicating these were never post-launch additions but rather part of the launch package.
The only post-launch update was a bug fix patch on September 4, 2018, and the developer's last official communication was a feedback survey posted on April 8, 2021. In that survey post, Firecast Studio mentioned investigating console ports, a Unity engine upgrade, joypad support, and a Spanish localization — but framed these as ongoing investigations rather than firm commitments. They also noted a desire to "continue Excalibur's story" in a future game, not as an expansion to this one.
Since April 8, 2021, there have been no further posts, announcements, patches, or updates of any kind. The console port and other improvements mentioned in that 2021 post never appear to have shipped (at least not on Steam), and no additional content for this game has ever been announced or released. The game launched as a finished narrative product with a clear beginning and end, and the developer's own messaging has consistently treated it as a complete work while gesturing toward a potential sequel rather than ongoing expansion of this title.
