Diamonds entered Steam Early Access on June 28, 2019 as a free-to-play third-person shooter made by a solo developer. The store description explicitly promises future content: online multiplayer, additional online and offline maps, and ongoing gameplay improvements. These remain undelivered.
The developer published four updates between launch and February 24, 2020 — covering leaderboards, power-up systems, character additions, and bug fixes. The most recent post was a small patch on February 24, 2020. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date.
The game remains in Early Access with outstanding promises the developer has not addressed or acknowledged since February 24, 2020. The 1.0 release and the announced online multiplayer feature have not materialized, and the developer has not provided any update on the game's direction or viability. Given the lack of any communication for over six years, it is unclear whether active development is continuing.

About this game
Diamonds is a free to play 3rd person shooter. Starting with an assault rifle, shotgun and plenty of grenades, you collect diamonds scattered around the map. Taking advantage of the spider diamonds as they replenish your ammo on death and allow you to engage in intriguing battles. When you defeat the enemy, they leave behind their diamond for you to collect. Use the diamonds to access your power ups which include a Bow, Rocket Launcher, Flame Thrower, sword and many more. Customize your character and enjoy the journey of unlocking maps and competing globally or with your friends for high scores.
With 12 maps in arcade mode I believe it is solid representation of my vision and where i want to take the game. The AI provides a realistic and exciting enemy to defeat and the diamonds provides a engaging game play objective. Future updates will bring online multiplayer, online and offline maps will be added and overall game play will improve.
