Dice Tribes: Ambitions

Dice Tribes: Ambitions launched on June 15, 2022. In the first few months after launch, the solo developer (Sprouting Potato) was very active, shipping weekly feature patches and a major content update. The 1.3 Content Update on September 28, 2022 added new ambitions, buildings, mechanics, and Steam achievements — and notably, the developer stated they had "implemented most if not all the ideas" they had for the game, inviting the community to suggest new ones. A small balance/bug-fix patch followed on October 7, 2022, which is the last update the game received. The developer's July 24, 2022 post had signaled a shift toward a larger "2.0" overhaul, but the September 1.3 update absorbed those plans and explicitly noted the scope wasn't large enough to warrant a 2.0 label. No further content was announced after that. By June 20, 2023, the developer publicly announced their next game, Crop Rotation, referencing Dice Tribes only in past tense and expressing gratitude for its reception — a clear signal that the developer had moved on. There have been no news posts, patches, or announcements related to Dice Tribes since October 2022. The game appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained experience and received its final content in the October 7, 2022 patch.
