Digger: Galactic Treasures launched on July 18, 2025 and has received four major content updates in the months that followed. The first arrived just two weeks post-launch on August 1, 2025 (a "Big Friday Update" adding a new bonus level, new tools, and new artifacts), followed by the Ice World story update on September 2, 2025, then The Old Observatory update on October 30, 2025 (which added three new endings and a new mini-game), and the base launch itself counts as the fourth. This establishes a sustained cadence of roughly one major update every 1-2 months post-launch. Beyond the major updates, the developer has been extremely active with 13 feature patches and 16 bug fixes — the most recent communication being a feature patch on June 4, 2026 that updated endings and added new bonus content. No specific future content has been announced, but the developer has shown no signs of winding down, and the June 4, 2026 patch is well within the historical update window. The developer has not made any statement indicating that content development has concluded.

DIGGER: GALACTIC TREASURES is an atmospheric space game about exploration and the hunt for ancient artifacts in the farthest reaches of the galaxy.

In the distant future, humanity has spread across the galaxy in search of resources and new worlds. However, habitable planets are exceedingly rare. The galaxy is controlled by the megacorporation GRAVEX Inc., ruthlessly exploiting the labor of miners and treasure hunters.

You are an ordinary worker who has inherited a decommissioned, semi-dismantled ship from your grandfather—a former GRAVEX researcher. Along with the ship, you discover a notebook containing coordinates of treasures and fragments of the mysterious artifact known as the "Heart of the Void", an ancient device rumored to generate matter and create habitable worlds. But the corporation is also on its trail...
