Digimon Survive launched on July 28, 2022 as a complete visual novel/tactical RPG experience. Two DLC packs were released on January 24, 2023 — a Month 1 Bonus Pack and an Extra Support Equipment Pack — both of which are fully available. No additional DLC has been announced or listed. The developer's news activity since launch consists of a launch announcement, an early bug fix in August 2022, and a Unity security patch in December 2025 (a routine engine-level fix applied across many games). A May 2025 post on the game's Steam page announced a new Digimon title, Digimon Story Time Stranger, as a separate product — this is not an expansion or update to Survive. There is no post-launch major content cadence, no outstanding promises of future content, and no roadmap. The game shipped as a self-contained narrative experience and its content is complete.
