SUPER ROBOT WARS Y

Super Robot Wars Y launched on August 27, 2025 and has received a substantial post-launch content program. The game shipped with two numbered DLC packs (DLC 1 on November 21, 2025; DLC 2 on February 6, 2026), followed by the Expansion Pack on April 22, 2026, which added 8 new playable units, 26 area missions, and a new hard mode. Since the previous evaluation, the developer released one additional piece of paid content: the Anniversary Expansion Pack on August 5, 2026, adding 33 new area missions, 12 new weapons, 5 new playable units, and 1 new assist crew member. This was accompanied by a free patch (version 1.4.0) on August 4, 2026, which added a new BOOST game mode, raised the pilot level cap from 150 to 200, and released two free commemorative missions celebrating the Super Robot Wars series' 35th anniversary and 20 million copies sold milestone. All 7 DLC items listed on the store are now released. The Anniversary Expansion Pack represents the most recent content drop, released on August 5, 2026. No further content has been announced by the developer following this release, and there is no roadmap, unreleased DLC listing, or developer statement indicating additional content is planned. The post-launch DLC program has followed a clear, structured arc — two numbered packs, an expansion, and an anniversary expansion — which appears to have concluded naturally. The game is content-complete as of the Anniversary Expansion Pack launch on August 5, 2026.
