Dinosis Survival launched on July 7, 2017 and received a series of bug fix and patch updates in its first weeks. Its only major content addition was Episode 2, released on November 28, 2017, which the developer described as completing the full story. No further content updates have been released since then. In May 2025, the solo developer posted directly on the Dinosis Survival store page to announce their next project — Blackroot: Medieval Survival — explicitly framing Dinosis Survival as a finished chapter: "Dinosis Survival was released years ago. It was a small, low-budget project, but it brought joy to many of you despite its limitations." This is a clear developer statement that Dinosis Survival is a completed work, with the developer's full attention now on a new game. A follow-up trailer post in November 2025 reinforced this pivot. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap commitments, and no indication of any future content for Dinosis Survival. The game launched as a story-driven indie title made by one person, shipped its concluding episode in late 2017, and has since been complete.

About this game

Dinosis Survival is a third person shooter with dinosaurs based on a mysterious story.

As a player, we control a man named Tom Burt. He woke up in the jungle full of dinosaurs after his plane crashed. Is he the only one that survived the crash? What is this place?

The most important gameplay elements are hunting and sneaking. Dinosaurs can see you, can smell you, can attack you or run away when hurt. You will find many weapons, puzzles, and clues.

Hunger is a very important issue in the game. You can hunt or grab some dinosaur’s eggs to eat and restore energy. To cook dinosaur meat, you must make a fire camp in safe place.

This is an Indie production made by one single person, but it has been polished and designed with care.
