Dinotica spent approximately one year in Early Access after its original launch on August 12, 2025 (under the name DinoTopia, which was renamed to Dinotica on August 16, 2025 due to a trademark conflict). During Early Access, XA Studio shipped a sustained cadence of updates: a roadmap in September 2025 outlining upcoming content, Major Update 1 (Time Rift Mode, new companion, Dye Workshop, Altar) on September 26, 2025, a Halloween and Fishing Spot update on October 31, 2025, and additional patches through the end of the Early Access period. The developer announced on August 5, 2026 that the game would officially leave Early Access on August 12, 2026, and fulfilled that promise with the 1.0 launch post on that date. The full release added substantial new content: a Dark Forest chapter, 15 new bosses, 9 new Dino companions (bringing the total to 50), an expanded Endless Mode (up from 82 to 200 rooms), and full online co-op support. The game reached its 1.0 release on August 12, 2026 — just one day before today's assessment date. The developer has not made any statements about post-launch content plans, and no new DLC or updates have been announced or listed. With the 1.0 launch so recent, there is simply not enough information yet to determine whether XA Studio plans further content updates.
