Evaluation
Disgaea 4 Complete+ is a definitive/complete edition of Disgaea 4, bundling every piece of content ever released for the game into a single package. The store description explicitly states "Everything to ever grace Disgaea 4 is here!" and highlights over 30 unlockable characters, extra story campaigns, and all prior content. This is a port and compilation of the PlayStation 4 version (also called Disgaea 4 Complete+), which launched on PC on September 10, 2020.
The developer shipped a feature patch on February 11, 2021 to add online network features (custom maps, Pirate Duels, Cabinet Ministers, Netherbattles, and a ranking system) that had been missing from the PC version at launch. Since then, developer communication has consisted only of bug fix patches, with no announcements of new content, DLC, or expansions. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, and the developer has made no statements indicating further content is planned.
This is a complete, packaged product — a definitive compilation of all Disgaea 4 content — that has finished its post-launch technical work and received no new content since the network feature update in February 2021.
