DISORDER launched on January 21, 2025 as a full 3D roguelike dungeon crawler. After launch, the developer shipped a rapid series of patches addressing bugs and quality-of-life improvements through February 2025, followed by two significant free content updates: a May 27, 2025 update adding two new dungeons, a new currency system, and custom shops; and an August 16, 2025 update adding two new playable characters as free DLC. The May 2025 post also mentioned plans to improve voice dubbing and translations "in a month or two," which was a reasonable pointer toward the August update. No developer communications have appeared since August 16, 2025 — now over 14 months ago as of today (October 8, 2026). The two major updates were spaced roughly three months apart, so the silence since August 2025 extends well beyond that established pattern. The developer has made no announcements of future content, roadmaps, or ongoing work since the August 2025 update. The in-game teaser in the January 2025 patch notes ("leaked characters — think of it as a glimpse into the future") was plausibly fulfilled by the August 2025 character update. With no outstanding commitments, no unreleased DLC on the store, and silence extending well past the historical update cadence, the game appears to have reached its completed state with the August 2025 update.
