Doctor Who: The Edge of Time launched on November 12, 2019 as a complete, self-contained VR adventure. The only DLC released was an official soundtrack on launch day. Following release, the developer (Maze Theory) shipped two patches — one in late November 2019 addressing controller and gameplay bugs, and a second in January 2020 delivering the promised Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality headset support along with further optimisations. That January 2020 patch represents the last known developer communication. No further content, updates, roadmaps, or announcements have been made since January 24, 2020. The developer never announced or hinted at any expansions, additional story content, or post-launch content plans beyond the headset compatibility work that was fulfilled. The game appears to have shipped as a finished, standalone product and received its final update in January 2020.
