Dofamine

Dofamine is a first-person sci-fi puzzle game that launched out of Early Access on May 27, 2021. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained experience — a single narrative puzzle adventure with no DLC, season pass, or post-launch content expansions listed on the store. After launch, the developer released maintenance and quality-of-life patches: a bug fix in October 2023 and a more substantial update in June 2023 that added tutorials, gamepad support, cutscene changes, and other improvements. A further translation and location rework patch followed in February 2026. None of these patches introduced new story content or announced additional content for the base game. In January 2025, Whale Rock Games announced a separate standalone product — Dofamine VR — which is its own game on Steam, not DLC or an expansion for the original Dofamine. More recently, in February 2026, the studio announced demos for two additional new games (VALDIS and Shadow of the Matrix), further confirming the studio has moved on to new projects rather than adding content to Dofamine. The base game launched as a complete, finished product with a defined story and no post-launch content roadmap. All subsequent activity has been maintenance patches and separate new game announcements. The game is complete as of its May 27, 2021 launch date.
