Dollhouse launched on May 24, 2019 and received several updates throughout its first months, including a major free content update called "Tale of Two Dolls" on August 28, 2019. On November 7, 2019, the developers explicitly stated in their final patch notes (version 1.3.0) that they would "no longer be supporting Dollhouse after this update," marking a clear end to active development. A one-off bug fix patch (v1.4.0) was released on December 13, 2021 when the game was brought to another PC storefront, but this was maintenance-only and did not represent a return to content development. The developer confirmed in that post it was a "one-off new patch." The news posts from 2024 and 2025 (DESOLATIUM and Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror) are announcements for separate, standalone games published under the same SOEDESCO publisher account — they are not content additions to this game. The original Dollhouse is a complete, finished product with no further content planned.
