Doodle God launched on September 24, 2015 as a puzzle/world-building game. It received a handful of content updates and feature patches in the years following launch, with the most recent Doodle God-specific content being the soundtrack DLC released on October 20, 2017. The only DLC listed for the game is that soundtrack, which has been released. The last news post directly related to Doodle God itself dates to a June 8, 2018 post promoting a "Doodle God Blitz" update bundle. Since then, JoyBits Ltd. has shifted its public communications almost entirely toward announcing and promoting other titles in its portfolio — including Idle Craft, Worlds Builder, Bouncemasters, and Flow Legends. None of the developer's recent news posts (spanning 2022 through February 2026) announce any new content, updates, or plans for Doodle God. The store description contains no promises of future content. With all DLC released, no post-launch update pattern continuing past 2018, and the developer's attention clearly directed toward other projects, the game appears to have reached its final content state around the time of the soundtrack DLC release in October 2017.
