Doom Sweeper

Doom Sweeper launched out of Early Access on June 8, 2024 and received a strong cadence of major updates throughout its post-launch period, including version 2.1 (August 28, 2024), version 3.0 (November 14, 2024), and version 3.1 (November 19, 2024). On December 9, 2025, Paper Dog announced a new map called "Kuma Land" featuring new enemy types, noting it was coming once they finished it — but no release date was given. That December 9, 2025 announcement is the last known communication from the developer. As of October 1, 2026, nearly 10 months have passed with no patch notes, no follow-up posts, and no further updates of any kind. Paper Dog's previous major updates arrived roughly every 1–5 months, so this silence is significantly longer than their established pace. In March 2024, the developer acknowledged they have limited resources and may work at a slower pace — a factor that adds context but does not resolve the uncertainty about whether Kuma Land is still in development. The announced content has not shipped, and there is no confirmation that development on it is continuing.
