Doomsday Paradise launched on November 8, 2023 and received two planned major content waves post-launch: Content Wave 1 on February 14, 2024 (new enemies, boss, friends, skills, items, scenarios, and endings), and Wave 2 on September 12, 2024 (Nintendo Switch launch alongside new enemies, menus, and Holiday Mode). On November 10, 2024, the developer published a post explicitly stating that the 1.5 update "will likely be the last content update unless we have a big Cinderella moment" — making clear this was the final content release. Since then, only maintenance work has continued: a June 16, 2025 patch focused purely on Steam Deck text sizing for readability. No new content has been announced, and no unreleased DLC exists on the store. The game shipped as a complete experience and has now concluded its post-launch content cycle.
