Doughlings: Arcade launched on May 8, 2018 as a complete brick-breaker arcade game. In the months following launch, Hero Concept shipped several feature patches and quality-of-life updates through December 17, 2018, which was the last developer communication of any kind. After that point, all developer activity ceased entirely. The store description describes the game's full feature set — characters, power-ups, levels, and a level editor — with no mention of upcoming content or expansions. There are no unreleased DLC listings. The only post-2018 developer news was a December 2021 post announcing that Doughlings: Arcade was coming to the iiRcade cabinet platform, which was a port announcement rather than new content for the Steam version. That same post referenced the sequel, Doughlings: Invasion, which had already been announced in March 2019 and released separately. No future content for the Steam version of Doughlings: Arcade has ever been announced or implied. The game launched as a complete product and has been in maintenance-complete status since its final patch on December 17, 2018.
