DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO launched on October 10, 2024 and has maintained a consistent stream of major content additions since then. The original Season Pass covered three packs: Hero of Justice Pack (January 23, 2025), Dragon Ball DAIMA: Character Pack 1 (April 21, 2025), and Dragon Ball DAIMA: Character Pack 2 (September 21, 2025). A standalone character DLC featuring Shallot from Dragon Ball Legends arrived on June 23, 2025.
The game's most recent major release is Super Limit-Breaking NEO, which launched on July 30, 2026 — the same day as today's evaluation cutoff. This expansion adds 33 new characters, 4 new stages, a brand-new "Limit Breaker Journey" solo mode, two new battle mechanics, and three additional stage variants via a free update. It was announced at Battle Hour 2026 on April 22, 2026 and formally dated on July 23, 2026.
The first anniversary post from October 2, 2025 stated "it's not over yet" and teased the next DLC (which was the Super Limit-Breaking NEO announcement that followed in April 2026), showing the developer's ongoing intent to expand the roster and modes.
All five major content drops have arrived at roughly 3–5 month intervals since launch, and the developer has not made any statement indicating this content cycle has concluded. The game continues to receive both paid expansions and free gameplay system updates alongside each release.
