THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV launched in February 2022 and ran an extensive post-launch content program over nearly three years. This included two Team Passes, a Fighter Pass, and a series of individual DLC characters released from March 2022 through November 2023, concluding with the final DLC characters Mature and Vice on December 12, 2024. On December 12, 2024, SNK simultaneously released Patch Ver. 2.41 (a broad balance update), the Mature & Vice DLC characters, and the "KOF XV Ultimate Edition" — a bundle explicitly marketed as containing every DLC character in one package, totalling 61 fighters. The framing of this edition as the all-inclusive complete package strongly signals the end of the game's content program. All 16 DLC items on the store are marked as released, with the most recent shipping on December 12, 2024. No further DLC, roadmap, or content announcement has been made since that date. The most recent developer post (November 10, 2025) was a cross-promotional bundle with FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves — a marketing offer, not an announcement of new KOF XV content.
