TEKKEN 8 launched on January 25, 2024 and has been receiving a consistent stream of DLC characters and seasonal content. The game has progressed through three season passes: Season 1 brought characters including Eddy Gordo, Lidia Sobieska, Heihachi Mishima, and Clive Rosfield; Season 2 added Anna Williams, Fahkumram, Armor King, and Miary Zo; and Season 3 began in February 2026.
The Season 3 roadmap announced on February 2, 2026 explicitly named three more characters: Kunimitsu (Late Spring), Bob (Summer), and Roger Jr. (Fall). Kunimitsu launched on June 2, 2026. Bob has been confirmed to launch on August 19, 2026, per the June 29, 2026 news post. Additionally, on May 26, 2026, Bandai Namco announced Yujiro Hanma — a crossover character from the Baki franchise — as the 4th additional playable character in Season 3, arriving in early 2027. This extends the confirmed content pipeline well beyond today's date of August 13, 2026.
With Bob's release imminent (August 19, 2026), Roger Jr. still scheduled for Fall 2026, and Yujiro Hanma confirmed for early 2027, there is substantial named, unshipped content still ahead.
