Dragon Eclipse launched into Early Access in mid-2024 and received a steady stream of major content updates throughout that period — the Shadow Realm patch (July 19, 2024), Dragons' Arrival (August 2, 2024), New Foes (August 14, 2024), Fire and Earth (September 3, 2024), and the Content Wrap-up (October 3, 2024). On October 3, 2024, the developer explicitly described that final Early Access patch as "the last major content update" before leaving Early Access, and stated that the focus would shift entirely to polish, localization, controller refinement, and bug fixes in preparation for the 1.0 release. The game officially launched as version 1.0 on December 5, 2024, graduating out of Early Access. The developer's own language made clear that the content development phase had concluded with the October update, and the 1.0 launch delivered the remaining technical and quality improvements they had described. There have been no announcements of post-launch DLC, expansions, roadmaps, or additional content since the 1.0 release. While the October post contained a teasing line ("Who knows, maybe the story of our Mystlings isn't finished yet…"), this appears to have been referring to a separate future project the team was beginning — not additional content for Dragon Eclipse itself — and no concrete content announcement for Dragon Eclipse has followed.
