Evaluation

Dragon Spirits: Prologue was released as a free demo/preview on August 26, 2020, explicitly described at launch as containing roughly 1/6 of the main content of the planned full game, with save transfer support promised for the eventual full release. It served its purpose as a promotional prologue for the full Dragon Spirits game. The full game, Dragon Spirits (a separate Steam title, App ID 1074190), launched on April 25, 2023 after the developer announced it was content-complete and had received its publishing approval. This fulfilled the original promise made at the Prologue's launch. The Prologue's role as a teaser/demo was thus completed when the full game shipped. As of August 2024, the developer also released a prologue version of Dragon Spirits 2 (App ID 2904170), confirming the series is continuing — but that activity is tied to the sequel, not this Prologue listing. Dragon Spirits: Prologue itself has no unreleased DLC, no outstanding content commitments, and no developer statements suggesting further updates to this specific title. It has fulfilled its stated purpose as a free preview of the first game in the series.
Evidence
Dragon Spirits (the full game) officially launched at $9.99, with 300,000+ words of story text and 50+ hours of content — fulfilling the full-game promise made at the Prologue's launch. Save transfer from the Prologue was confirmed to work.
