Drift Experience Japan is a small, free-to-play casual drifting game that launched on February 7, 2023. It shipped as a self-contained experience with 2 sprint circuits, car customization, and day/night settings. Five days after launch, on February 12, 2023, the developer shipped a feature patch (Update 1.2.1) adding settings menus and gamepad support, and briefly mentioned that "a larger game version is also in development." That larger version materialized on March 6, 2023 as a separate paid product on Steam — "Drift Experience Japan: Supporter Edition" — which expanded the content to 6 circuits and additional features. This was the last developer communication found for this game. The Supporter Edition appears to be the fulfillment of the developer's teased "larger game version," meaning it was released as a distinct product rather than as additional content for this free base game. Since March 2023, there have been no further updates, patches, announcements, or developer posts for Drift Experience Japan.
