Motorbike Evolution 2024 is a free-to-play MMO racing game that entered Early Access on March 25, 2024, and remains explicitly unfinished. The solo developer, Petr Šimůnek, has been consistently active since launch, posting a steady stream of feature improvements and bug fixes across 50 total news posts.
The most recent developer communication was on August 27, 2025 (Update 2025.0.1), which included backend updates and technical fixes. Prior to that, a substantial graphics and multiplayer overhaul was posted on January 13, 2025, and a significant engine upgrade from Unity 2022.3 to Unity 6 shipped on November 9, 2024. The gap between the last update (August 27, 2025) and today (October 1, 2026) is just over 13 months. The developer's historical posting pattern shows frequent updates — roughly every one to three months — so 13 months of silence is outside the established rhythm, but the store description's explicit long-term ambitions and the ongoing Early Access status mean there is no declaration of completion.
The store description makes the developer's long-term vision clear: they explicitly state their aim to incorporate Ph.D. research into procedurally generated terrains and a personal goal to "capture 150 years of racing in a game one day." These are not statements of a near-complete product. No 1.0 release has been announced, and the game remains in Early Access with no developer statement indicating development has concluded.
Evidence
Update 2025.0.1 shipped with backend updates, vehicle de-ghosting fix, and build size reduction — the most recent developer communication.
Update 2024.1.9 delivered significant multiplayer precision improvements, graphics overhaul including PBR properties and reworked grass/trails, and sound improvements.

About this game

I have been creating this game since high school and have worked hard through my studies at Charles University in Prague. My aim for this year is to carry over my Ph.D. research about procedurally generated terrains into my game. I aim to capture 150 years of racing in a game one day.

Motorbike Evolution is a multiplayer racing game that uses principles similar to those of World of Tanks. With each race against 39 other players, you gain experience and credits, for which you can buy various upgrades for your vehicle or unlock newer vehicles. You start with machines from the 1900s. Can you get to the very top and ride on modern machinery?

Controls are simplified enough to give you still the passion of riding but not too complex to take you hours to learn. It mainly focuses on providing players with the best enjoyment from racing fights. The game's core is short, dynamic races with a high action density. The feeling from the ride is very reminiscent of older games; do not expect a hardcore simulator. On the other hand, it's not a mario kart racing game - there are physics, and you need to keep that in mind.

- 80 motorbikes from 120 years of history
- 40 real and custom tracks
- 1000+ various vehicle setups
- 30+ vehicle patterns, each customizable
- 10 different biomes

Using a simple yet rich customization system, you can customize your vehicle and rider as much as you want. For example, you can paint your motorbikes with any combination of colors or use any of the available patterns to customize them!

The game is based on custom cloud-saving technology. As part of that, it contains many classic MMO features like cloud save, leaderboards, daily missions, achievements, and stats! Compare yourself to other racers!
