Drift86

Drift86 launched in November 2019 and has received a long run of content updates: free patches adding cars, maps, and features; a Car Pack DLC in November 2021; a Map Pack DLC in October 2022; further feature patches through 2023; and most recently two DLC packs — the Fun Pack and Map Pack 2 — both released on May 27, 2026. In December 2025, the developer announced Akina as the successor game, noting that "a small update for Drift86 should also be released in collaboration with the new game." The two May 2026 DLC releases align directly with that promise and plausibly fulfill it. The March 2026 news post is focused entirely on Akina (its soundtrack, wishlist count, and upcoming demo) and does not announce any further Drift86 content beyond what was already committed. Since the May 2026 DLC release, the developer has not announced or teased any additional Drift86 content, and the December 2025 collaboration update commitment has now been satisfied by those two DLC packs. No unreleased DLC entries exist in the store listing. The developer's energy is visibly shifting toward Akina, and there is no outstanding promise of further Drift86 content. The game's content appears to be complete as of May 27, 2026.
