Duel Revolution

Duel Revolution is a free-to-play monster-taming MMO that launched on February 29, 2024. Since launch, Game Matter maintained an active content schedule: a Summer Event in June 2024 (new fishing feature, three new Evo), a Halloween Event in October 2024, a Christmas Event in December 2024, an Easter Event in April 2025, and then seasonal events continuing into fall and winter 2025 — a Fall/Halloween Event on October 6, 2025 and a Frost/Christmas Event on December 2, 2025. That's six major content releases across roughly 21 months, averaging one every 3–4 months. In a May 12, 2025 announcement, the developer confirmed active work on "Chapter 2, a major battle update, and controller support." The Summer 2024 post had already described a next island as the game's "biggest update yet, continuing the story and introducing over 30 new Evos." This Chapter 2 commitment remains publicly outstanding with no release date and no follow-up communication. The store description explicitly states the team is "constantly adding new Evo with upcoming updates" and is "committed to delivering regular updates and fresh content" — consistent with the developer's demonstrated behavior through December 2025. However, as of October 1, 2026, the last developer communication was on December 2, 2025 — nearly 10 months ago. Given the previously established cadence of updates roughly every 2–3 months, this silence is significantly beyond the expected window. Chapter 2 was announced but has not shipped, and no progress updates have been shared since May 2025. There are no distress signals (no posts about funding trouble, team reductions, or closure), but the combination of an outstanding major commitment and an extended communication gap raises genuine uncertainty about whether development is continuing on schedule.
