Florensia

Florensia is a free-to-play MMORPG that has been live since November 2016. In November 2024, Giiku Games officially acquired full ownership — including the source code — and established a dedicated internal development team, signaling a new era for the game. Since then, development has been consistent and escalating. Giiku shipped their first in-house update (2.4) in June 2025, followed by the "Corrupted Abyss" major content expansion (2.5) in November 2025, which introduced 14 new boss monsters, 26 new quests, dozens of new gear pieces, and a reworked dungeon. A series of feature patches continued into 2026: patch 2.5.2 in January 2026 added performance improvements and anti-abuse mechanics, 2.5.4 in April 2026 overhauled party experience systems, and 2.5.5 in May 2026 reworked the sea leveling curve. The most recent patch (2.5.6) shipped on June 15, 2026. Most notably, on June 26, 2026, the developer announced a live stream for July 7, 2026 to preview version 2.6 — teasing a new map and a guild-vs-guild PvP zone. This is concrete, explicit evidence that new content is already in preparation and will be shown publicly. As a free-to-play MMORPG with an ongoing monetized model and a developer actively building toward the next major update, Florensia is designed to run indefinitely. There is no indication whatsoever that development is slowing down.
