On January 10, 2025, the Dungeon Done development team posted an official announcement confirming that the team was disbanding due to the game's performance falling short of financial expectations. They announced that sales would be discontinued starting February 11, 2025. The game is now no longer available for purchase on Steam, which is consistent with this announcement. Existing owners can still play the game, but no further development or content updates are planned — the team has formally dissolved. The game entered Early Access on December 5, 2024, received a handful of patches and balance updates through late December 2024, and was then discontinued just over a month after launch.
