Dungeon Drafters launched on PC on April 27, 2023 and received a series of post-launch updates improving balance, quality of life, and bug fixes. On March 29, 2024 — just before the game's first anniversary — Manalith Studios published an explicit statement that they had "decided to conclude active development on Dungeon Drafters," with the team transitioning to a new project. The developer framed this as a deliberate wind-down and released update 1.1.1 alongside that announcement as a closing patch.
Despite that announcement, the developer continued to ship additional maintenance and polish updates. A substantial patch (1.1.2) arrived on December 24, 2024, followed by a hotfix (1.1.2.1) on January 11, 2025, and a final quality-of-life patch (1.1.2.2) on December 18, 2025. The December 2025 post explicitly states the team is "currently fully focused on the development of our next project" and describes the patch as "a batch of quality-of-life improvements and fixes gathered over the past year" — clearly framed as a goodbye gesture rather than the start of a new content cycle. There is no mention of any planned future updates for Dungeon Drafters.
The only DLC listed is the soundtrack, which shipped on launch day. No unreleased DLC exists. There are no roadmaps, announced content, or outstanding commitments. The developer's own words confirm development has concluded, and the December 18, 2025 patch represents the final polish pass. The game is complete.
