Dungeon Nightmares II: The Memory launched on September 14, 2015 as a complete, finished product. In the week following launch, the developer shipped two small bug-fix patches (September 16 and September 22, 2015) and briefly mentioned the possibility of a small Halloween treat for fans, but no such content appears to have materialized. By April 2016, the developer was already focused on a new, then-unannounced project. From 2017 onward, all developer communications shifted entirely to Ergastulum: Dungeon Nightmares III — a sequel that launched into Early Access on November 7, 2020. There are no DLC listings, no roadmap, no announced post-launch content, and no developer statements suggesting any further updates to Dungeon Nightmares II. The game launched as a self-contained roguelike horror experience and has received no major content additions since release. The developer's attention moved fully to the sequel years ago.
