Evaluation
Apsulov: End of Gods launched on August 8, 2019 as a complete, self-contained first-person horror adventure. Following release, the developer issued a series of bug fixes and stability patches through early 2020, and in October 2019 hinted at "future ambitions" without specifying anything for this game. By May 2021, a console port was announced and launched on PlayStation in August 2021 — this was a platform expansion, not new game content. A March 2023 post invited players to chat with the developers on Discord, but simultaneously pointed to Gori: Cuddly Carnage as the studio's current project, making clear that Angry Demon Studio had moved on to a new game. Both DLC items on the store are a soundtrack and artbook bundle that released alongside the game in 2019 and a standalone soundtrack in 2020 — neither represents gameplay content, and both are fully released. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced expansions, and no post-launch content roadmap for the game. The studio's own communications confirm their development focus has shifted to Gori: Cuddly Carnage. Apsulov shipped as a finished single-player experience and has received no major content additions since its 2019 launch.
Evidence
Developer Discord invite post explicitly directs players curious about the studio's current work to Gori: Cuddly Carnage, indicating Apsulov development is finished

About this game
The humans delved far beneath the earth to find the mercy of the gods. What they found was never meant to reach the surface. Not on Midgard, nor any of the nine realms of Yggdrasil. Now their discovery wreaks havoc on their world, exploiting their technology, and leaving all in misery and decay. Through all their conquests and revelations they never stopped to consider that some things are buried for a reason.
In a world of technology and mythological artifacts, chaos rules over the human realm. It is in this chaos that you find your purpose and destiny.
In this future viking horror you awake in a sanctuary of steel and concrete, built to research and exploit the worlds of Yggdrasil, and to house an artifact, buried in the earth aeons ago.
Unveil the secrets of the mythology, the artifacts, and the realms of Yggdrasil in Apsulov: End of Gods.
