Dungeons Forever is a free-to-play community-driven platformer that launched on February 5, 2018. The game's core concept — a level editor paired with a community-uploaded level pool — is self-contained: all content is generated by players rather than the developer shipping discrete expansions or updates. The store description explicitly states no ads, microtransactions, or hidden costs, and asks only that players contribute levels.
The developer (a solo developer named Matt) has posted only two updates since launch: a network fix on July 12, 2021 and another network fix on November 28, 2024.
