Dust Raiders launched on July 17, 2025 and immediately entered a period of active post-launch development, driven by a roadmap the developer published on September 8, 2025. That roadmap outlined six planned updates with approximate target dates, and all of the content-bearing updates on the roadmap were subsequently delivered: - Update #1 (free play after story completion, crew bonuses, workshop randomization, new equipment tier) shipped September 16, 2025 - Update #2 (three new game modes: Dust Raiders, Warpath, Trader's Path) shipped September 30, 2025 - Update #3 (50+ new events, 12 new playable enemy vehicles, workshop overhaul) shipped October 9, 2025 - Update #4 (transport quest rework, new job board mission types) shipped October 20, 2025 - Update #5 (Raid Mode — a full roguelike combat experience) shipped October 30, 2025 The sixth item listed on the roadmap was the release of the official soundtrack (Update #6), which is a standalone music release rather than a game content update. The most recent developer communication of any kind is the October 30, 2025 Raid Mode update post. As of today, September 24, 2026, that is nearly 11 months without any developer communication. The roadmap has been fulfilled in full — all five content updates shipped on or very close to their target dates, and no new roadmap, expansion announcement, or follow-up content has been communicated since. The developer has not posted any news, patches, or statements in 2026. Given the complete delivery of the announced roadmap, the absence of any new content announcement, and nearly 11 months of silence since the last post, the game's post-launch content cycle appears to have concluded with the October 30, 2025 Raid Mode update.
