Earthfall

Earthfall launched on July 12, 2018 and received a strong wave of post-launch free updates. The developer published a roadmap on July 31, 2018 outlining three planned updates — Inferno, Militia, and Invasion — and all three were delivered: the Inferno Update shipped August 28, 2018; the Militia Update shipped September 25, 2018; and the Invasion Update shipped October 30, 2018. Following those, the developer released one final major update on June 21, 2019, which upgraded the game engine from Unreal 4.16 to 4.21 and added a new enemy type and a new Invasion map. That June 2019 update is the last recorded developer communication of any kind. No further content has been announced, no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing (both listed DLC items — the soundtrack and the Hazmat Pack — were released in 2017 and 2018 respectively), and the developer has made no statements since June 21, 2019 about future plans. The July 2018 roadmap described the three-update plan as "just the first round" of updates, but all content from that roadmap shipped and nearly seven years have passed since the last update with no follow-up commitments. The game appears to have reached the end of its content lifecycle with the June 2019 update.
