EDGE launched on August 11, 2011 and received one major post-launch content drop: the free EDGE Extended DLC, released on September 28, 2011, which added 45 new levels, additional music, and Dark Cube races. A smaller patch on August 25, 2011 added five bonus levels and language support. No further content updates were made to EDGE after September 2011. The developer, Two Tribes, publicly announced in March 2016 that RIVE would be their final game, and they confirmed this again in November 2016 after RIVE launched. As of January 2017 — the last communication on this game's page — Two Tribes had wound down to just two people and stated they were not working on any new projects. There is no indication that any further content for EDGE was ever planned or developed after late 2011. EDGE is a complete, finished game. All content — including the free Extended DLC — shipped by September 28, 2011, and the studio has since confirmed it is no longer making new games.
