Election Year Knockout launched on July 2, 2020 and received two major free content updates post-launch: the Vladimir Bootin Update on August 9, 2022 (adding a new boss fighter and EX fight), and a version 2.0.0 Leaderboard Update on May 10, 2024 (a significant feature addition). The game also received a controller hotfix in May 2024.
The most recent developer news on this game's page — dated January 5, 2026 — is an announcement for a demo of a sequel, *Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen*, not new content for Election Year Knockout itself. The developer is clearly shifting focus to the sequel. No new content for Election Year Knockout has been announced or shipped since the leaderboard feature update in May 2024, and there are no unreleased DLC listings on the store. The store description mentions "much more on the way soon" regarding boxing attire, but this language predates the major updates and was almost certainly fulfilled by the clothing additions in the August 2022 update.
