Elf Girl Pinball launched on November 30, 2022 and has been continuously updated since. The developer has shipped two major content releases post-launch: a feature patch adding a new "intense shooting mode" in December 2022, and the Ivy DLC on April 25, 2025, which added a new character and game mode. In addition to these, the developer has posted numerous feature patches and bug fixes throughout the game's lifespan. Most notably, on May 7, 2026 — the most recent developer communication — the developer explicitly stated: "this game will continue to be updated!" while noting they have been busy with a new game, which has slowed the pace of updates. This is a direct confirmation that development is ongoing. An earlier post from June 20, 2024 also mentioned plans to focus on new DLC development for the pinball game alongside a new game project. The one released DLC (Ivy, April 25, 2025) shows the developer has already delivered paid content post-launch, and no unreleased DLC is currently listed. However, given the developer's explicit May 2026 statement that updates will continue, the game is still in an active update cycle.
