Else Heart.Break() launched on September 24, 2015. Following release, the developer shipped a series of bug-fix and feature patches through early 2016, with the last recorded update being patch 1.0.8 on January 22, 2016. Since then, there have been no further patches, content updates, or announcements related to the game itself. The developer's only communication on the game's Steam page since 2016 was a May 2024 post announcing an entirely separate new game, Manahex — confirming the developer is still active as a studio, but has moved on to new projects. No DLC was ever listed, no post-launch content roadmap was announced, and no future content for Else Heart.Break() has been mentioned at any point. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained adventure and has been in that state since early 2016.
