Entropy entered Early Access on August 18, 2026 and is explicitly an unfinished game being developed with player feedback. The developer, Lovely Hellplace (creator of Dread Delusion), has been actively engaged since launch: on September 1, 2026 they released patch v0.5.21 with balance changes, performance improvements, and numerous bug fixes. In that same patch post, the developer confirmed that a formal Early Access roadmap will be published later in September 2026 — giving players a concrete promise of a public plan for what content is coming during the Early Access period. The launch announcement on August 18, 2026 explicitly referenced the team's approach with their previous game Dread Delusion, describing a process of listening to fans and iterating based on feedback to build toward the best possible finished game. The studio has demonstrated consistent responsiveness, having also patched their demo twice in June 2026 before launch.

About this game

In this dying age, only pockets of humanity remain. There was no apocalyptic event to speak of; only the cruel march of time and the inexplicable infertility of the world. Accursed creatures stalk the barren lands between settlements, which are themselves terrible places; squalid, medieval and mostly ruled by tyrants.

Our story begins in the town of Draenog, where the theatre performance you are putting on is interrupted by fighting at the gates. Demons have arrived. Your wooden sword will have to do for now, gather the troupe and defend yourselves!
