Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator

Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator entered Steam Early Access on August 30, 2021 and has been receiving updates since then. The developer published a formal roadmap on December 19, 2022 laying out the remaining milestones before 1.0: an Undead faction overhaul (Update 0.8.5), cavalry units and new maps (Update 0.9), and siege battles featuring castles and citadels (Update 1.0). The roadmap also noted that updates beyond 1.0 were being considered. Update 0.8, which brought Steam Workshop integration and a UI overhaul, shipped on February 25, 2023 as the first item on that roadmap. A localization update followed on October 20, 2023. However, there have been no developer communications of any kind since October 20, 2023 — no patch notes, no devlogs, and no announcements. Updates 0.8.5, 0.9, and 1.0 remain undelivered, and the store page still lists cavalry units, siege battles, and more maps as planned content. The developer has not addressed the gap or provided any update on the status of the remaining roadmap items. Given the silence since October 2023 against a backdrop of unfulfilled commitments, it is currently unclear whether development is continuing.
