Eron launched on March 17, 2015 as a complete 2D platformer. The developer shipped one post-launch gameplay patch on June 5, 2015, which adjusted the controls. That is the last update the game has ever received. By mid-2016, the developer had moved on entirely — announcing a new game called Smithy on May 27, 2016, and teasing yet another new project on August 5, 2016. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, no season pass, and no developer statements about future content for Eron. The studio's own public communications confirm their attention shifted away from Eron to new projects more than a decade ago. The game launched and was completed as a self-contained package.

In a distant galaxy, on an uncharted planet code-named, Eron, a special power is hidden. The planet is in constant danger as many seek this power hidden in the planets core.
You play as a native tribesman on this planet, who one day discovers that uninvited guests have destroyed your village. It is up to you to find and stop whoever is responsible.
