Evaluation
Ether Loop launched on January 21, 2020. In the days immediately following release, developer Moon Lens was highly active: they shipped four feature patches and one major content update (an endless mode) between January 26 and February 3, 2020. The January 17 pre-release post outlined post-launch plans including new weapons, items, encounters, and a possible Mac release — and the subsequent updates delivered on those promises (new weapons, items, and encounters were added across the feature patches).
The last developer communication of any kind was the February 3, 2020 update notes. There have been no posts, patches, announcements, or roadmap updates from Moon Lens since that date. The burst of activity in the first two weeks after launch — five updates in under two weeks — appears to represent the entirety of the post-launch support cycle. No further content was announced after that final patch, and no promises from the pre-release roadmap remain visibly unfulfilled in a way that the shipped updates didn't address.
The only DLC is the soundtrack, which released on February 17, 2020 and is not a gameplay content commitment. With no developer communication since February 3, 2020, no unreleased DLC, no outstanding commitments, and a post-launch update pattern that clearly concluded over six years ago, the game appears to have shipped as a largely complete product with a short post-launch polish phase that wrapped up in early February 2020.
Evidence
Final developer communication: patch adding 4 items and bug fixes. No posts from Moon Lens after this date.
