EverStopped launched on September 27, 2019 and received several substantial updates over the following three years. The game's developer, MaxEstLa, shipped three major content updates: the Training Update (May 8, 2020), the LASER Update (December 18, 2020), and a large overhaul in November 2021 that added new events, dialogue, music, and a full technical rebuild. On November 19, 2022, the developer published a post explicitly titled "Everstopped, one last time," stating the game had "reached its final stage" and that the update being released was the last one. The post also noted there would be no DLC. No developer communications or updates have appeared since that date. The game is complete.
